FTM, and our anatomy scan is on my husband’s birthday. He’s more antsy than I am...I can’t make up my mind! Do you regret it either way?

We’re waiting until birth. There’s not many surprises left in the world and although meeting my baby for the first time will be incredible finding out if it’s a boy or girl just adds to the excitement. This is our first baby and we always said that we would wait so I’ve had years to mentally prepare myself to wait. There’s no wrong decision though, it’s whatever you want!

I love how couple can wait till the birth but im so impatient and love to find out as soon as im able too! Lol im pregnant with my 7th and have been dying to know lol im 17+5 weeks and have my anatomy scan on may 1st 🤗

It’s surprising enough getting to know what your baby looks like, so I don’t think it ruins the surprise. Spreads them out, in my view!

Knowing the gender helped me bond with the baby. I’m also way too curious to wait lol. Do whatever you feel is right though! You’ll find out one way or another

Maybe ask the technician to only tell your partner the sex, then if/when curiosity takes over he can reveal it to you :-)

It's a surprise either if u wait or find out early. I think you can defo be more prepared if u find out gender. I've got my surprise at 16 weeks with all 3 of my babies and never regretted it one bit!

We did a gender reveal with close friends and family and feel like we got the best of both worlds :) we had to wait a few weeks after getting the results of the gender to do the reveal and the anticipation and excitement of waiting to find out was so worth it! We were definitely surprised! Before the reveal I wanted to just find out at the doctor’s bc I am very impatient but husband wouldn’t let me and made me wait until the reveal, I’m glad we waited now!

I got the blood test at 13w and found out I’m having a boy. I couldn’t wait to find out!
