I know this is not the place to ask this, but I'm just a clueless college student, who wanted to spend some alone time with her bf, and thought you ladies could give me some insight on this. So I rented a room for a night and i used my debit card. The guy at the front desk gave me a weird vibe from the moment i entered the establishment. He asked my name, my card and my ID (normal). I handed him my stuff and he took like 15 minutes to check me in. This was weird because I've stayed at other hotels before and it usually takes less than 5 minutes to complete the process. Well, when I booked the hotel online it said it would be $60 +tax, so in total it would be $80 for the night. when I got home and checked my bank statement I realised that they charged me the 80 bucks, then they refund me 69.99 and then charged me again 80 bucks.... That means I payed 90 dollars in total for the room, but in my receipt it says that they charged me 80. Sorry if this is too confusing but I really want to know what's up with that. Should I call them and see what they say or should I not bother since it's only 10 dollars?
