We’re expecting a little girl (YAY!) and ever since we found out and told our families her name will be Lanora we have had questions on what her nickname will be. This is primarily from my sister-in-law.

She’ll ask if we’ll call her Nora then. And I’m getting so frustrated with it! If we wanted to call her Nora we would name her Nora!!! But we love Lanora.

Now if a nickname happens naturally I’m all well and good with that, but I am not a fan of pre-chosen nicknames (outside of the you name your son Matthew and call him Matt).

Am I alone here? Anyone else getting the same question and it bothering them???
