So my long term boyfriend and I decided to go stay with his mother a state away for a little mini vacation. We got there around 6pm, all made small talk, and had a light (gross) dinner.

Keep in mind we’re both in our mid-twenties.

He and I headed to his old room to get ready for bed. But we were both really hungry and couldn’t sleep. We considered finding something in her pantry but all this lady had was oats, medicine, and canned fish.

So we laid there until about 3 am trying to fall asleep but decided we were going to go out and get a fast bite at McDonald’s. We get back around 3:30.. he heads upstairs but I had to get a few things out of the car so I trailed behind.

I came inside and his mother was waiting on the steps with a flashlight. She shined it in my face and said “where have you been??? It’s 3:30.” I said “we were hungry so we went and got a small bite to eat.” She said “you’re not allowed to do that. You can’t leave like that.” I didn’t really know what to say, I was just like “..um I didn’t know we weren’t allowed...” then she just stared at me. So I walked away and told my boyfriend. He shrugged it off and fell asleep like always but I thought it was really odd and creepy. What do you all think?
