No heartbeat :(
Went in for my 2nd ultrasound today. Should be 9wk 2d but baby was measuring 8wks 3d and we could not see the heart beating. I was just there 2wks ago and everything looked great (baby was measuring 8 days behind but you could see the heart beating).
I took it well but my 7year old was there with me and she started sobbing. We are a very open family and given the last appointment everything was fine I figured she could come to this one. I feel awful she has to experience this. I kept it together for her and after I dropped her off at camp I lost it.
The dr said I could get a 2nd opinion but wondering if it's even worth the emotional pain. I have the D&C scheduled for Friday. I've had no spotting or any other miscarriage symptoms.
