I would recommend going to a meet up of your local chapter of Baby Wearers International and trying on a bunch of different kinds to find what works for you.

Maybe visit your local sling library, slings are a very personal choice and it's best to try a few out before you buy.  I have a Hoppides which I love and I'm breaking in for the library I volunteer withs Pretty Paisley which is a fairly amazing sling, I also have a Didymus which I'm not so keen on but my friend has borrowed it and loves it.
