I used to take the pill before becoming sexually active to help control my periods and breakouts. I stopped it for a few months after it caused me to no longer have a period. I recently got a boyfriend and became sexually active so I decided to get the depo shot. I have had a lot of side effects including no periods, headaches, weight gain etc. I’ve been considering either bit continuing with the depo shot or stoping any form of birth control all together and using condoms when I’m with someone. Looking for advice on what the best option is.
