I’ve been wanting a small tattoo on my ribs for ages now. It will mean a lot to me but I know my parents are iffy about tattoos. I will pay it with my own money as I’m in uni but have a part time job. I talked to my mum about it last night and she said I don’t have to get a tattoo to show how much I love our dog, as it will always be in my heart. She said I can do whatever I want but she’d suggest me not to as she knows many people who got tattoos and regretted them after a few years because the ink either bled or it’s just gone shitty. She just doesn’t see the point of getting tattoos and now I’m kinda discouraged about it as I’ve been wanting to get it done for about 2 years now and I always wanted to talk to my mum first as although I’m an adult, I still live in her house and she takes care of me.
