Is having a "fuck buddy" okay?

My boyfriend and I recently broke up after dating for 2+ years. However, we still hangout and do our thing. My feelings for him aren't there anymore..I just see him as a great friend now. But, I think he still sees me the same because he's been taking me out to eat breakfast and lunch. I see him as my "fuck buddy" and not a boyfriend etc. Is that okay?

Yes they can work.  But not with exes. one of you will inevitably get badly hurt.

If he has feelings you should probably cut it off totally. Fuck buddies is fine til one of you catches feelings. The fact that you were a couple before means he probably still thinks he’s in with a chance

Maybe I have a different interpretation of fuckbuddy, but I don’t really think you can do that with an ex, or even a friend. If you want to keep things just sex with someone you can’t have an underlying emotional relationship. That shit gets messy af.
Most of my fuckbuddies have either been people on the periphery of my friend group or people from tinder 🤷‍♀️
