How are you getting your first born ready for the baby? My son will be 2years old when the baby is born, a few days after his 2nd birthday to be exact.

I’m in the same boat! My daughter will be about 22 months. We bought the “I’m a Big Sister Now” book. And she loves it! I think they have a brother version. Our biggest struggle has been getting a room ready!

My daughter was the same age when my son was born. She thought of him more as like a novelty item I think and just did her own thing most of the time I paid very little attention to him until he was about 2 years old. She still got tons of attention because he was a very good baby and very content so it was easy to manage playing with her and caring for him and feeding him. She would pat his head sometimes or give him a kiss but I feel like she didn't really notice him until he started wanting the same toys as her then he became competition lol
