I am just about a month away from my first wedding anniversary. This is traditionally the paper anniversary so we are sticking to that. What do you ladies think of these two items?

I would get tickets to a concert or sports event. Still kinda paper!

For our paper I had a book folded (two lines) with our last name (top line) and year we married (bottom line). It’s a navy book and has a navy ribbon around the top. Don’t want my last name out there lol but here’s what I mean when I say book folding.

We just celebrated 5 years of marriage yesterday 4/20. So do ours I decided bc My hubby is a HUGE sports fan. I would do something special for him. We just got home from a private tour of the Heinz stadium and tour around Pittsburgh. He was like a kid in a candy store! Couldn’t keep him on track but it was amazing!

my husband got a star named after me, so i got a piece of paper telling me the coordinates, a picture of the star, and the official letter for our anniversary... then we layed on a blanket and found it... every year he has followed traditional gifts... im not that creative!

I got my husband tickets to see his favorite college basketball team play. They were playing at a casino so we stayed there and made a weekend out of it. It was a blast and fun to spend time together as opposed to just getting a gift that would sit around.

I bought him a whiskey decanter set that was on our wedding registry but no one got it for us. Then I printed a picture of it and gave him the picture. We were moving into our first house and the actual gift was already packed into a box.
I love following the themes! It makes us think outside of the box. Makes the day different from Christmas or a birthday bc you don't just ask for something you want. We're on our iron anniversary this year. He got me a cute, bistro table and chairs for the patio. I love it!
