My May babies decided enough was enough and forced themselves out on April 19th. Exactly one month before EDD!

I went to dr for normal appt and he took my blood pressure. It was elevated, which was usual. He sent me to hospital, and I almost didn’t go I was so mad!

I got there at 2pm. My blood pressure was high (160/100) so they put me in triage. Hen they checked urine protein and blood panels. The protein ratio in urine was bad! I had developed preeclampsia, despite a negative test 4 weeks earlier. They told me that I’d be admitted until I gave birth or if the blood pressure meds couldn’t lower blood pressure my boys would come ASAP.

One bad reading later and I was signing consent forms for a c-section.

At 630 my husband finally showed up at hospital and to his surprise when I told him, “oh by the way, were next on the OR schedule”. The boys were coming ready or not.

They were delivered at 807 and 808 pm on 4.19.18.

Elijah was sent to NICU, but discharged within 3 hours. Finn had a prolonged stay and was discharged to us at 3:30 today.
