Acid reflux???

Question

I've never had acid reflux before, my fiance has it though and I was telling him how my throat constantly burns now and feels Iike stomach acid is just sitting there & he told me thats how it feels for him. I'm wondering why Im just now getting it, is it something related to my pregnancy or what? opinions?

same here I take tums sometimes but since lately whenever I eat and lye down vomiting been shooting out my nose....gross I know but will speak to my ob about it

I get it really bad also, sometimes to the point that i cant lay down without puking in my mouth!... I started getting it a few weeks ago for the first time but i guess it's common especially for a lil one with a full head of hair;)... I never even got morning sickness or anything so it's definitely torture to get it from everything that i always ate/drank through my 1/2 tri. . screw tums the only thing I found that works for is alka-seltzer heartburn relief chews! & more water

I carry  my bottle of pepcid around with me like my life depends on it. 😬
Mines so bad I have to sleep sitting up. Actually started to damage my esophagus in the beginning because I was just dealing with it by ignoring it. Dr gave me this weird drink thing that coated my throat for a while to help it heal then put me on a prescription for Pepcid

Taking Zantac 150mg up to 2x/day is ok!!  It’s the only thing keeping me sane. I love being pregnant, but this acid reflux is killer. Very common!

I ended up in the ER with acid reflux because I was just dealing with it and not taking meds. They ended up finding out that I have destroyed my esophagus and now I am on prescription medicine twice a day until my baby is born. So, it is actually pretty serious. Don’t deal with it, talk to your doc!!!

Mine is so bad I can’t lay down flat at night. Makes me vomit

I take Zantac for mine. I've been dealing with it for at least the last 2 months. Mine has been so bad that it has given me a cough and sore throat from the irritation. One thing I'm looking forward to going away once baby comes.

It’s a normal pregnancy symptom. I have it this pregnancy and it was getting so bad I couldn’t sleep at night. Doctor prescribed my Zantac and it helps 100%! No more acid reflux for me
