When am i fertile?

Took BC for about 4 months after a MC. Took 4 pills from this packet of BC and decided to TTC. 2 days later im bleeding. But this is suppose to be my fertile week. So when am i really suppose to be fertile? Next month?

This will likely be an erratic cycle for you. BC stops ovulation by putting specific hormones into your body, BUT all BCs are different in that some are higher estrogen while others are higher progesterone. It’s possible the bleeding is estrogen break through bleeding. Your BC may have been high in progesterone, so when you stopped, your body experienced what it considers a surge of estrogen, which can trigger light bleeding. Some women experience a similar event with spotting at ovulation, when estrogen is naturally very high. More often ovulation bleeding is due to the follicle rupture (both healthy signs). But basically, you could ovulate this cycle or your body could “skip” this cycle and try again next month. 
If you don’t want to give up on this cycle, you could always try OPKs. They will let you know when you will (most probably—not a 100% guarantee) ovulate. I know no one likes to have to sit out a cycle. 😕 Are you guys able to just have fun this round, or does he struggle with fertility issues?
