To test or not to test

So. my period last month was 3 weeks late randomly and I tested once every week. Currently im 2 weeks late and I was just going to wait till 3 week mark but my SO just bought a test bcuz he wants to know. Plus we are going out tomorrow night. No sign or symptom of AF. Boobs ache pretty much all the time and I get random cramps under my belly button. Idk what I should do!
