Large Living Room Ideas! Help!

My husband and I are purchasing our first home together! 😍 The living area is meant to be a dining area and living room together but we have a dining area in the kitchen as well and plan on putting our table in the kitchen. This means we will have one LARGE living room and are trying to decide how to decorate. We know we want a sectional with our TV mounted on the wall and some kind of media console underneath as well as a tall plant or two and possibly a desk too. Any other ideas!?! I feel that the living room will be too empty for the size of it
