Growing up my “dad” always told me I was “too ugly and fat to get a man and I’ll never be nothing in life”. So when I got with my husband I was told “he will leave and cheat on you”. He told me so much I believed him. I became paranoid that my husband would cheat and leave me for someone else because I thought as my dad said “fat and ugly”. I’ve came to love myself for who I am and for what I look like. I also went to college and now I have my career as an EMT and I will be a Paramedic. My dad has been out of my life for quite some time now and I have never been happier and secure with myself and relationship.
