Hey everyone,

I just need a little bit of peace of mind as the drs aren’t really helping at this moment because they said they’ve never seen something like my case before. But I find it extremely hard to believe this has never happened to anyone. I know this is a very touchy subject but if anyone has gone through this and is willing to help then please message me.

Back story

I found out I was pregnant with twins and around 15 weeks I unfortunately lost one. Now my dr informed me that I would either pass the baby within a few days or it would either absorb or stay inside of me until I deliver the other baby.

Fast forward to last night I am currently 32 weeks pregnant all day I had felt like I was “peeing myself” I changed my underwear a bunch of time and TMI it had a foul smell, later that night I was having a bath like I normally do when I seen something strange floating in the water. Of course I freaked out and went to labour and delivery and they confirmed that I had passed the other baby. They said they have never seen someone pass it this late and that they have only ever seen someone pass it right away or at delivery. I was kept there overnight to monitor the baby and make sure he was okay and to also check for infection or if I started to have a high white blood cell count. I seemed to be fine and they sent me home this afternoon well I’m still leaking this yellowy odour fluid and I just passed another piece of what I’m assuming is either the baby or infection. But just the smell alone/ it being yellow makes me think it’s an infection. Has anyone had this happen before?? What did it turn out to be? I’m waiting for the on call dr to call me back currently.

Sorry for the long post and the not so nice details but I’m just freaking out inside. I don’t want to have to deliver my baby at 32 weeks and I also don’t want to miss a chance of it being an infection.
