Birth control & the day after pill

I’ve started to take birth control for the first time in my life on Thursday & I’ve been taking it every day this week. Well my boyfriend & I had unprotected sex, on Friday night so today Saturday I took the day after pill. Will I be okay? Is it bad that I took both pills? I took the BC in the morning & the Day after pill in the afternoon.
