Hey all i'm wondering if anyone's SO has had an inguinal hernia? My bf has a mild inguinal hernia on his right and whenever we have sex or i give him head he get lingering discomfort there for a couple of days. The doctor who checked him even said he didnt have to get the surgery and that the discomfort might not even go away after surgery.

The doctor literally said "the problem may never go away" WTF?! We're looking for other doctors but I AM LOOSING MY SHIT HERE. We have been dry for a good 3 months. At this point im gonna start humping everything in my home like a dog.

When i bring up sex all he thinks about is the discomfort and pain so it feels like he's conditioned to dislike it now. He tried to play with me but then i dont even enjoy it since i feel like im making him do a chore.

He's handling this situation well BUT I NEEEEEEED IT.

I guess im asking you all if your SO has had the surgery, what the recovery time, and sex life changes has been ????
