Some times I will wake up gasping for air, dripping sweat all while my heart is going 100 mph. I never used to have nightmares but omg I just had the worst and it only happens when I’m pregnant

I keep having horror dreams, either i’m about to get killed or I have to kill someone to save my life, i’ve had the worst dreams ever.

I had several every night for weeks and weeks.  But recently the scary/intense dreams have stopped.  I still have vivid/weird dreams but haven't had heart pounding nightmares in a little bit.  I hope it was a faze  that has passed!

At the beginning of this pregnancy I kept having dreams of miscarriages. They were really gruesome and I could feel what was happening in my dream. Like the blood clots coming out I could feel. It was awful and I would wake up so disturbed and feel that way all day. 
I also kept having dreams of getting drunk and I don’t even drink when I’m not pregnant. In my dream I’d be trying to convince people around me/myself that I was allowed to get drunk. Or it would be like someone made me dinner and I ended up drunk and panicking. They were bizarre.

I used to dream about snakes taking my baby, vomiting snakes, and being bitten by snakes. Bizarre ones. The thing is Im not even afraid of snakes I find then cuddly.

This pregnancy no. But with my first daughter I kept having dreams about babies. I don’t know if it’s pregnancy anxiety, hormones or all the reading about newborns. Probably all 3. That cause us to have pregnancy dreams.
