I have breastfed all my baby’s and still today I get embarrassed when out in public xxx

This is my 7th baby and i always say this time i will have more confidence but then when it comes to it actually happening i am shy and very conservative...i honestly don’t care what others think but hate confrontation and just prefer to avoid it

I nursed my first for 15 months and plan to nurse this one too. I never had an issue nursing in public. We were able to do is discreetly and I don’t think anyone even noticed. I have no problem feeding my kid where ever they’re hungry. I think a lot of the “public nursing shame” is made up. I’ve never experienced any hostility or weird stares...and if I did I didn’t notice lol.

I want to pump but not breastfeed I plan on going back to work as early as 7wks so I would rather pump and bottle feed.

I got real creative when feeding in public. Jackets, blankets, diaper bag, a hat lol anything to cover as much as I could but baby’s got to eat!

Am very nervous about this is my last baby and want to do everything right for him but my anxiety about doing it out in public is over powering the excitement I have all bad comments in the past which then I stop breastfeeding all together then breaks my heart but going to do for this little man xxxx

I definitely want to, but in struggled so much with my first that I’m just going to try my very best and not get my hopes up too much. I was heart broken when I failed with my first.

I think it's the stigma that comes with it. It's so sad that women have to hid themselves when they're simply feeding their child.
