🗣🗣 heads up, this is a long read🗣🗣

Ok this is going to be mean, rude, or what have you but it’s getting so bad I have to say something I just don’t know what. I already feel like shit because I pride myself on being honest and real with people, she’s my best friend and i just cannot bring myself to talk to her about her hygiene issues.

She’s so musty if you get within 3 feet of her you will smell it and if she puts her arms up everybody in the room will smell it. She’s in a group on campus and I know for a fact everybody can smell it but no one has said anything. She’s the sweetest person I know and will literally give you the shirt off her back and I think that’s what makes it so hard for anyone to say anything. We’ve noticed that Her “sisters” have stopped coming to her house because of how messy it is.

Her mom isn’t any better and I’m sure that’s where she gets it from but she has a slightly younger sister than is the complete opposite and it’s puzzling. Her mom had to stay at her apartment for a while and reeked havoc... they kept puppies in the apartment and they shit and pissed everywhere (did I mention the entire apartment is carpet Except for bathrooms and kitchen) shit was smashed into the carpet and floors. They pissed and shit all in the kitchen and no one cleaned it up... they just walked over it and continued to clean up. They made the bathroom so bad that instead of cleaning it they just locked the door so nobody could go use that bathroom. The kitchen has dirty dishes in it that no one washes, there’s half eaten food out in tables, molded food and drinks in cups. I sacrificed weekends where she was out of town and tried to clean up as much as I could but it got to a point where I just felt disrespected cause as soon as her mom came back, the apartment would go right back to shit and I’m nobodies maid. Her car is even worse there’s piles of shit in there and so many stains on the seat it feels stiff, and she has bugs in her car... I never knew you could get bugs in a car.

But here’s the really embarrassing part... a mutual friend of ours and her got “involved” and he came back and told me how bad it was. He said it was hard for him to keep an erection because the odor was so bad. He never went back... and I feel so horrible because her relationship with her boyfriend ended and this guy she was talking to never text her back after a “night out” it’s becoming a cycle and she’s getting down on herself but hasn’t realized what the problem could be.

It’s getting to a point where it’s embracing to be in public, let me explain; I was about to try on clothes in the fitting room and she wanted to try on too, she went to the stall next to me and as soon as she went to get undressed the odor hit the air and spread. You could hear another employee enter the fitting room to relieve someone for lunch and they literally yelled “OMFG IT STINKS IN HERE WHAT THE HELL” y’all my stomach literally dropped 😭 the other employee quickly made some background noise. I’m sure she told her it was probably one of us in the rooms. My friend walked out before me and when I walked out me and the fitting room attendants made awkward eye contact. y’all... I DO NOT WANT ANYBODY THINKING THAT I SMELL LIKE THAT, that drew the line I’m sorry.

I have brainstormed this, she has eczema and Idk if that has some kind of effect on the products she’s able to use but it’s not that bad and deodorant shouldn’t be the issue (?) I’ve thought about putting together a little care kit with products that she would be able to use on her skin safely and attach an anonymous note to it. She’s too much of a beautiful person to have such an ugly side. Help please
