Hi ladies, I got a lot of response to my previous posts about being denied by Medicaid so I wanted to post an update. I'm literally at a loss with this situation. I called every hospital to check for any programs, financial assistance, ANY other option! There is nothing! I tried for BCBS, Obamacare, and was told it's not open enrollment and being pregnant isn't a life changing event. My only option is to wait until November when enrollment starts again, and hopefully be covered by the time I deliver. Until then we will be paying out of pocket for prenatal care. My husband was military before and our insurance was amazing, I'm now realizing why insurance causes people so much stress :/
