Birth control shot

So, I got the depo shot at the end of February. I’m now on day 13 of having my period, and I fucking hate it :(. Did this happen to anyone else? If so, is there any way to stop bleeding? I’ve read up on it, and a blog said ibuprofen is supposed to help, but it only made me bleed more 😳
