Hey ladies. I’m so ill - I text my manager yesterday saying that I don’t think I would be able to make it into work today due to how I’m feeling. My next shift isn’t until Wednesday now so I’m hoping to get a doctors appointment tomorrow. She replied with a very blunt “ok” and then a few hours later I got a text message from a lady I work with saying “thanks to you now I have to cover your shift.” I feel really uncomfortable now as on Wednesday I will be with my manager and the woman that sent me that message - please also bare in mind that I am her supervisor plus I covered her shifts from the beginning of January until the beginning of March as she was apparently ill for all of that time. How can I resolve this situation? I haven’t done anything wrong, I am genuinely ill but now I’m worried to go back to work because of the way they’ll be towards me. 🙁
