Like the other women said, only depo has demonstrated weight gain but I know the mirena iud made me gain weight. I brought it up with doctors and they said that it wasn’t the iud it was my new body after baby and my eating patterns. I ate like a bird and exercised every single day and couldn’t lose 15lbs. Got it removed and the weight melted off in like two weeks. 🤷🏼‍♀️ coincidence

It doesn’t MAKE you gain weight. If you do happen to gain weight you’re either retaining a lot of water from it or your hormones are out of wack so you tend to want to eat A LOT. You just have to keep a steady diet and try to stay active as much as you can.
