Clomid pros and cons?

My OB is talking ovulation options. Clomid is first on the list. 
Pros? Cons?

Max of 6 consecutive cycles  or it may increase risk of ovarian cancer. I agree with everything that was said. I experienced, nausea, food aversion, bloating, breast tenderness, hot flashes and mood swings.

Cons--nausea, irritability, hot flashes, the possibility of it thinning out uterine lining, and I think it can cause some other scary things. Pros...ovulation, higher chance of twins. To me its well worth it just because Im desparate to ovulate and I would love twins.
