So my ex-fiancé finally met someone knew after 5 years and they are getting married this Fall. They are French and live in the south of France. Occasionally my ex and I will check in on each other via email or Skype, because we remained friends after all this time. So the other day I sent him an email asking how he was. I didn't get a response back, but tonight I was non-chalantly going through my emails and found an email from his new fiancée. Obviously we were never introduced because we live in two different countries. Well this girl was mad! She was attacking me on so many levels! Accusing me of "mortal sin" and wanting to win back his love! Mind you, they are traditional Catholics. Well I was very confused, but finally it dawned on me that he must have told her that we lost our virginity together. Poor girl. He probably blamed it on me too. She has no idea that he pressured me into it. I mean I take responsibility too, but it did take 2 of us. So I wrote her back and told her that I'm the one who left him and absolutely do not want to win back his love lol. She did tell me not to write him anymore and that makes me sad. I hope that one day we can all be friends. I am happily married now and I know we may never see them in person, but I did love my ex and still love him as a brother. We were friends before we dated too. So I'd love to still have contact. Like maybe once or twice a year receive family pics and updates. Do you guys think that would be too much to ask her?
