This will be my 5th. First 3 were vaginal, 4th was doctor elected csection (long infuriating story but they basically took advantage of me while i was exhausted and in pain) this one Im planning a vbac. And I think maybe its my age at 37, but I really dont feel like fending off hospital staff post birth or eating their food. For an uncomplicated vaginal, Im thinking I want to be gone within 8 hours. Anyone did this, and did you have to fight the hospital? Im thinking I should put early discharge in my birth preferences. I have a modwife this time,and Ill be hiring a doula to coach thru a water birth. I dont believe there should be any issue with the csec scar, cause it is almost invisible, it healed so well.
