I think it's perfectly okay to try to induce with things like sex, walking, and food. Baby will come when their ready. Might as well get laid and enjoy some good food while you wait 😉

I never wanted to be induced I always let them come when the time was right. Although I do believe when you’re body is ready things like walking sex and bouncing can speed it up. I know multiple people who were too impatient to wait until their due date and got induced early, only to have long and traumatic labors. I was like nope not for me, don’t even want to chance it.

Home remedies don't really do much so it's fine to try them. go have sex, bounce on a ball, eat spicy food, climb stairs. at least it gives you something to do while you wait.

I think all of them CAN be safe in certain times. with my first I was 4cm dilated and induced at 39w. from the time I arrived at the hospital to birth was about 7 hours. with my second at my 37 week appt I was only 1 cm dilated  but had sex with my hubs 2 days later and it put me right into labor. So all of them can be safe in the right situations

With my first I decided I really didn't want to be induced. I walked and had sex and bam 4 am the next day, which I was supposed to be induced on, baby came 7 hrs later
