8w today and went to my first appt. So glad I finally got to see my wee one. Tech didn't tell my the HR but I saw her measure it and the screen said 186 but she didn't seem satisfied by it so she took another reading to measure but she had moved the wand just enough for me to see the flicker of the heart 💓 and I got distracted by it and didn't see the new measurement. I made my husband come cause I wanted him to see baby too but they only let me back for that part then he and the kids were able to join me for the rest of the appt which was just the usual questions, pap smear, and blood drawl. Unfortunately nausea has put me off of water so despite drinking juice, gatorade, and other things I've become a bit dehydrated so when they tried to drawl blood it wouldn't flow. same happened last 2 pregnancies and they just kept going until they got enough (OWWW!). Today's nurse was great though she tried for a min then told me to just go to the lab when I get better hydrated.
