I recently applied for on campus housing but all the decent housing options were occupied so I may have to live off campus next year at an apartment.. I can’t afford to pay monthly rent and I still have to save up to get my car fixed (which is about $2-3k).. my mom is saying I shouldn’t take out a loan to pay for the apartment but I’m running out of options. I plan on getting a job this summer but idk if I’ll be able to handle work and school work.. any suggestions?

Also: I live about an hour from campus, but my parents are always fighting so I’d rather not live in such a negative atmosphere.
