Hi, hoping someone can relate.

On Friday night me and my partner had sex and afterwards there was some bright red blood in the toilet bowl. I didn’t continue to bleed. Saturday morning I just had brown discharge when I wiped and the midwife wasn’t concerned she just said no vigorous sex. We had sex again gently on Sunday morning. When I got home in the evening I had brown and red blood on my knickers that had gone through trousers. I went to hospital emergency department and they didn’t examine me just said it sounds like a miscarriage and to call my midwife on Monday morning. So I did this and she got me a scan. I’m estimated 10 weeks. The pregnancy was measured in the scan at 8.5 weeks, the yolk sac is well sized however the baby inside the sac is only measuring 6.5 weeks so is behind on growth. They couldn’t see a heartbeat and said this pregnancy will likely end with miscarriage due to the delay in growth but they cannot be sure until I’ve had another scan in a weeks time. So it sounds like there is a very small chance things might be ok or does it sound like I’m losing this baby ? So confused and sad all I’ve done is cry over our loss.😢😔 anyone had a similar situation? Good and sad stories welcomed. ❤️❤️❤️
