Post C section rash

So this was taken 5 days after my c section. It’s hard to see how bad it is in the picture but it is an itchy scaly rash in a straight band across my stomach and it is by far worse than recovering from child birth and major abdominal surgery and engorgement and anything else. I’m now 8 days out and have experienced no relief. Talked to my dr and he was very dismissive. Irritation or allergic reaction to drape adhesive or antiseptic prep, which is also what I figured. But he said try benedryl it hydrocortisone cream. I have tried benedryl x2 every four hours, hydrocortisone with calendula, coconut oil, cocoa butter, washing it with mild baby soap, letting it get air. The only thing that seems to help is desitin diaper cream. And it’s super messy and only helps for a short time. And I’m nursing a newborn and can’t really afford to just lay around with cream all over me all day even if that would actually help for more than 5 minutes. If anyone else has had this please help me! It’s so itchy and angry and red and even hot to the touch. I can’t wear pants, my underwear rubs on it. I can’t wear a support binder even though I think it would make my incision feel better.
