Do you sneeze through your nose or mouth?

Odd question I know but I noticed when my boyfriend sneezes he also snots in the tissue, like he sneezes through his nose.
But I never do that. For me if anything comes out into my hand or tissue its just some spit. 
So now I'm weirdly confused what a sneeze is! 🤔

A sneeze comes from your nose...sometimes they also make you spit but it’s mainly the nose.

I hold everything in when I sneeze to no fluids come out of my body it's strange but I've done it all my life. If I'm really ill though I sneeze with my mouth.

Sometimes I'm both. Or like it depends on how bad it feels like the sneeze is. I try to control it haha
