Age wise no but life wise kinda . 16 is still in school. Still not legal to do alot of things by law. In some states not even legal to have sex. And still have to see a pediatric dr. At 18 your a young adult most likely out of H.S. Can sign almost anything for yourself without a parents permission. Legal to have sex... Etc

Honestly it depends on maturity. I know I grew up a lot between 16 - 18. Of course I got pregnant in November 2012 , when I was 17. Then LO was born last July . Now me and DH are 19, and i feel like my teen years were 50 years ago . I honestly think it depends on the maturity level . Not the age .

I just turned 17 when I met my fiancé who was 20. In the long run it doesn't matter much but you have to realize kids grow up A LOT during those short years.... Personally I would never date a younger man and if older men are going after highschool girls you have to wonder why... Can't they find girls their own age?
