Is it ok to date a older man that has daughters the same age or older than you? What about if they just want their dad happy would it still be weird?

I have mixed feelings about this because I think if everyone's happy then who cares?!? Then on the other hand I also wouldn't try to be a mother figure to his daughters either... it would probably be best to care about them from a distance and make sure that their relationship with their father isn't changing because of the two of you dating. So know your boundaries I guess... just don't try to play mommy when y'all are the same age or they are older. Just respect one another and let everyone decide for themselves weather this could work or not. How does everyone else feel about this?? I would love to know other people's feelings on this!
