A REALLY close friend of mine(we will call him boy A) was with a girl for 2 years. She was very manipulative. He lost his virginity to her. Then she starts cheating on him toward the end. Lies about who she’s texting. Then breaks up with him, and 6 months later is engaged to the guy she was cheating with.

He is convinced it was his fault.

THEN after nearly 2 years of being devastated and hesitant to ever be with anyone, he starts to like this girl. They talk for about 6 months nearly every day. His good friend (boy B) and her have a mutual family friend and they (boy b and girl) were invited with this family out of town. They end up “accidentally falling for each other” and she cut him(boy A) off while she was on this vacation. When they came back from vacation, she avoided him(boy A) at work, hardly texted him back. Never told him anything. Pretty obvious that she’s now into boy b, right? So he(boy a) calls her out saying you haven’t talked to me what gives, you like boy b now don’t you. And she obviously got defensive and ended up finally admitting it. Boy a said something to boy b and boy b apologized saying “it just happened” and blah blah blah. So now he has lost a good friend. And even worse, he has lost any and all confidence. He has no self esteem. And he doesn’t want a relationship, or even to begin to try anything with anyone at all because he is so scared and uncomfortable and not confident at all.

Fast forward about 6 months to now. He still blames himself. He still has such low self esteem. And it is literally breaking my heart.

This guy is so amazing though. Sweet, caring, and I’m not just saying this out of pity, he truly is the perfect guy. His self esteem is totally non existent. (Maybe I have feelings for him again? But this isn’t about me lol)

Y’all, what can I do, or say, to help him? He is a Godly man and always puts everyone else first.

Internet all talks about guys cheating but what about the TRULY good guy who gets cheated on and completely broken.
