any advice for a 16 yo girl who’s trying to get on the pill? my mom won’t let me. she thinks the hormones “are dangerous for young girls and can lead to breast cancer and infertility”, and she says there’s no proven research on that because the BC companies don’t want people to get scared of their product. lots of girls that i’m friends with are taking it for prevention purposes as well as the hormonal benefits. we’ve talked about it a lot and she just won’t seem to budge.
