C-section pain management

Hi ladies! Last year I had a c-section due to unfortunate circumstances and it took me about a week to finally get off of my pain medication. I was given oxycodone so I refused to give my milk to my son, despite the nurses all telling me it was safe. I’m determined to breastfeed next time, but I’m wondering if there are safer pain drugs out there that are actually safe for breastfeeding? Hopefully I won’t need opioids next time since it won’t be an emergency c-section again, but if Tylenol doesn’t cut it, what should I do?
