can i use baking soda when i wash my hair ?

I would like to try something when I wash my hair but do it once a month. I use vinegar but I want to try something else. I keep my hair up in a bun all night. my hair gets tangled and frizzy by my scalp and I need help with figuring out how to stop that my hair is long too. please comment.

ideally if you want to do all natural, you can use baking soda to wash ( it doesn't fizz or bubble, so make sure you get your entire head) and coconut oil to condition  (not a lot or it'll get greasy) but that is one of the healthiest ways
