Have you guys gained weight on the pill?

I'm 18, and am going on the pill because my periods are irregular. Is there anything I should keep in mind to ask the dr? Thanks in advance!!

I did, about 40 lbs, but I also went on birth control when I was 14 so I was already in the process of gaining weight because of puberty.

I was on the pill for about three months which isn’t a long time but I found that within those months I gained about 6/7 lbs. I’m not saying that’s directly because of the pill, but I think it’s because I had an increased appetite which I belief was caused by the pill. I also felt “bigger” as I was bloated more often. 
Now I’m of the pill and back to how I was before, no abnormal bloating nothing.
