Should I cover my tattoo for a job interview?

I have a small tattoo on my arm and I am 19. Its a three word quote and I’m wondering if i should cover it for a receptionist interview I have. Im planning on wearing a half sleeve shirt that doesn’t cover it and Im not sure how they’d feel.

Personally I would just for the interview, I have a small tattoo on my wrist that I cover with a chunky bracelet for interviews and I also remove my tongue piercing (if I remember 😂).
Really employers shouldn’t judge your abilities on things like tattoos but shouldn’t doesn’t mean they won’t.

I’ll be the odd duck and say no. I don’t think there is any need to cover a small non-offensive tattoo. I have almost a full sleeve and I don’t try to cover all mine. Tattoos are becoming much more acceptable and more people are getting them. As long as it isn’t obscene, I think it would be fine not to cover. I’ve never had a problem with mine in job interviews

If you don’t know the company policy, I would cover it, but it depends on the size and what it’s of. If it’s a small piece it’s probably not necessary. I’m not tattooed, but I do have quite a few piercings. For job interviews I arrange my hair over one ear to hide some of the piercings, flip up my septum piercings and wear a padded bra / jacket to hide my nipple piercings. I think that it’s part being professional part shock-control. After being hired I’ve had my piercings on show and had zero problems. If I had a tattoo I’d cover it.
