I’ve tried my 4mo on baby rice and porridge a few times but she still has that tongue reflex so she keeps pushing it back out, if baby does that wait a few weeks and try again. If that goes away and baby shows interest then I’d say he/she is ready x

Well baby cereal and food doesn’t say 4+ months for fun! Lol our pediatrician said complete head control and can sit with a little support. There’s stages of baby cereals so I’d say start when your baby looks ready. You’ll be able to tell the first few feedings if you need to wait a few more months.

Ask your pediatrician. I mentioned possibly needing to supplement with formula, to the ped at my baby’s 4 month appt and my pediatrician said we can start to introduce rice cereal, oatmeal cereal.
