Jealous boyfriend

Hello everyone! Jumping straight into the topic, me and my boyfriend had been together for over 2 years. He is an extremely jealous type of guy,but this time he went straight out the line. So I’m having a tattoo this week and the tattoo all related to my family. He asked me if he could come with me and I said no. I have been thinking about him joining me but I think it would be a bad idea. I don’t want him to be related to the tattoo in any kind of way because I want to feel positive about it and our relationship is not always so positive. He got extremely jealous and he hasn’t texted me for hours now. He really thinks that we will be together forever but it is soooo far from reality. I have no idea what to do,it has not been the first time that He got jealous over such tiny and meaningless things and I have no ide How will I bear it for maybe years. Someone please help me If you’ve scrolled this far!😞
