Micro premie moms vent question

My daughter was born on April 1st she has been in a vent all three weeks of her life first conventional then oscillator ( which is what she is on now ) I was wondering how long your micro premies spent on the vent and are there certain requirements that tell they doctors the baby might be ready for cpap ... she is on the lower settings on the vent and had been down to 30% oxygen the last two days ... every time I ask them though they just tell me every baby is different and they will let us know when their little lungs are ready ... but I just want to hear some stories of other moms with micro premies
