Almost 38 weeks...

Was told today by my doctor that we will not even talk about an induction until I am 42 weeks. I'm a little sad, I feel like I am not progressing. I'm 1-2 cm 50 effaced n been this way for weeks now. I'm almost 38 weeks. Very uncomfortable, swollen & just miserable in this heat. The thought of going another month seems like pure torture. Really need some words of wisdom or encouragement! How can I get this baby out before 42 weeks? 😔😢😞
