When to stop Differin (topical retinoid)?

Question

I use Differin gel (a topical retinoid) for acne, but I know it’s not safe once pregnant.  When should I stop using it, though?  I’m planning to TTC sometime this summer and I’m not sure if you stop before TTC, once you find out you’re pregnant, etc.
