help..my court date

okay so almost a year ago me and some friends of mine shoplifted. the amount of items we stole added up to $1,700 which is a felony. i was 17. i had never done anything like this before. my first time getting in trouble for this kind of stuff.

i don’t need to hear about how bad it is or anything. i understand the bad decision i made but if i could go back, i wouldn’t. i’ve learned SO much from it and changed so many things in my life because of it.

basically i’m here because it’s been almost a year and it’s still pending. i have no court date. i’m graduating high school in less than a month and i can’t plan my future because i don’t know what’s going to happen with my case.

has anyone ever been in similar situations or knows anything about this kind of stuff that could possibly help me? what should i do? what can i do to speed up the process? or should i just wait it out? could it possibly get dropped?

i know nothing about this kind of stuff. i don’t have an attorney or anything like that. i’ve never been to court.
